Scoring
The points that are awarded for Guild CTF Tournament matches are based primarily on the scores shown at the end of the match. As in any CTF matches, the primary methods of gaining points are to hoist the flag and kill the opposing team.
- 1 point is awarded to each team simply for showing up.
- 1 point is awarded per 100 points in the end of match score, rounded up.
The end of match score takes both kills and flag hoists into account. - 2 points are awarded to the team of the player with the most kills, with 1 point being awarded to anyone coming within two kills of the top killer.
In the event of a tie for the most kills, solo kills will determine who gets 2 points and who gets 1 point. If solo kills are even, both players will receive 2 points. - 1 point is awarded to the team of the best flag-runner (the player who makes the most flag hoists).
- 2 points will be given to the team who wins the match
Points will be awarded to the opposing team for breaking rules, and may also be deducted from your team.
Scores will be tallied after each match and announced on the frog board and this website as soon as possible.
